Peer Power to Empower Program

The “Peer Power to Empower” programme is designed for young people, especially those with fewer opportunities. Through a cycle of six workshops, the programme strengthens three key areas of Positive Youth Development (PYD): competence, confidence, and connection with others. The workshops are led by peer educators who have been trained to implement the programme and receive mentoring throughout the delivery of the workshops. The aim of the programme is to empower young people to cope more successfully with life challenges and to contribute to the prevention and reduction of anxiety symptoms and the promotion of youth mental health.

The programme, workshop materials, and guidelines for volunteers and mentors are available on the e-learning platform, which provides support for the preparation and implementation of the programme.

Body for Empowerment of Youth

The “Body for Empowerment of Youth” manual is intended for professionals and anyone working with children and young people who would like to incorporate more movement and body-based activities into their work. The manual provides a clear theoretical framework on the importance of working through the body in the areas of mental health, personal development, and social inclusion of young people, together with a range of practical activities and exercises that can be adapted to different groups, ages, needs, and contexts.

Youth Mental Well-Being

The manual is intended for professionals and anyone working with young people, particularly young people at risk. In a clear and accessible way, it addresses mental health, emotions, and emotional regulation, while providing practical tools for developing young people’s emotional literacy, resilience, and self-awareness.

The content is organised as a progressive learning process, moving from an understanding of emotions and their connection to the body, through resilience, coping strategies, and emotional regulation, to relationships, safety, social connection, self-esteem, and positive identity. The manual also includes practical activities, case studies, active listening and self-assessment tools, checklists, support contacts, and further resources.
