Batizado (in Portuguese baptism) is an initiation ritual and ceremony during which capoeira members receive a Corda (the belt representing the rank in capoeira). In our case, it was joined with Troca de Cordas, an exchange of the cordas.

In our On-Arrival Seminar in November, we met a lot of other volunteers from all over Croatia that are part of the ESC as well. Call for volunteers! European solidarity corps project will be held in Zagreb, Croatia. It will host four volunteers. It will last from 07th of September 2022. to 31th of July 2023.
I am very interested in the topic of environmental activism and we can state that the climate crisis concerns all of us and has so many layers to it. With the arrival of sunny days, Amazonas organized an outside festival „Spring on Trešnjevka“ from the 4th to the 14th of April. These 10 days were filled with a multitude of workshops organized by either us volunteers or Amazonas trainers. The goal of this festival was to offer open classes for people to join and participate in the regular activities.
