From 22 to 28 November 2026, we are organising the Erasmus+ training course “Peer Support in Youth Work” in Zagreb, Croatia.
The training is intended for youth organisations that want to strengthen their capacity to use peer-to-peer methodology in youth work, especially in youth wellbeing and anxiety prevention.
Through theoretical input, experiential learning, practical workshops and reflection, participants will explore how peer support can strengthen connection, participation and young people’s personal and social resources, while also learning about the boundaries of peer support and when professional mental health support is needed.
Who can apply?
The training course is intended for experienced youth workers / mentors from youth organisations, who can participate either individually or as part of a team together with young youth workers / peer leaders from their organisation.*
*Young youth workers / peer leaders cannot apply without an experienced youth worker / mentor.
Applications can be submitted either:
- by one experienced youth worker / mentor, or
- by a team consisting of an experienced youth worker / mentor and young youth workers / peer leaders from the same organisation.
Organisations that wish to involve young people are encouraged to apply as a team. Young youth workers / peer leaders can participate alongside their mentor and later support the implementation of peer-to-peer methodology in their organisation.
